We are still battling sickness here. Poor J was really sick but one of his pleasures while being sick is the personal DVD player that helps occupy some of the time in bed. He was so funny when he woke up and sick and just finished emptying the contents of his stomach he said, " Yes!, I wanted to get sick...now I can watch movies." ( a prvilege he gets only when he's sick) Well about halfway through the day when he was still emptying the contents of his stomach and not being able to keep things down he said, " I don't like being sick anymore."
Isn't this so like us.......sometimes the things we desire leave us feeling empty (no pun intended).
The other wonderful thing is that even though I have lost a lot of sleep God has given me a wonderful servants heart to sweetly take care of J while he's not well. As mom's we know that this is sometimes hard but God is faithful to supply our every need even in times like these. I can irritated about loosing sleep or changing my plans or I can have a heart to accept the day the Lord has given me and rest in Him.
J wants everyone to know that he is much better and now he has the privilege of being with the family again.....big smiles and lots of energy! Amazing how quickly they recover!
