Ahhh.......Be still my soul. Very still. So thankful for the loved ones in my life that keep it busy and the stillness that creeps over me with God's peace is also incredible during those times full of activities. Last week we took a night out of our busy schedule to do a surprise journey. Where my family asked? I said, it's a surprise...do you want to come? We loaded up and everyone was excited. I drove us to a lake about 5 miles away to just take in the late afternoon beauty and have some time of relaxing in God's beautiful creation. Just what we needed, to be still for a moment. It was only an hour out of our day but it was so refreshing. The lake was calm and still and so relaxing.

Here is another picture I took when we got home. I tried to capture the fire flies which really delight me but you must look really hard to see the little specs on the picture :-D
I love taking little trips with my family.
