MARY DID YOU KNOW......

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you're holding is the Great, I Am.

Yesterday we had a wonderful Choir concert by the Area Homeschool Choir.  It was beautiful.  One special song always makes me ponder on the wonder of it all.

Jonathan singing :-)

Portion of the Choir
That song....Mary Did You Know?

The song gets me.... with the profoundness of it every time I

hear it....makes me wonder what is in my life,

my hands ,

right now,

 right where I am,

that I do not even know the magnitude of it all.

There was only one Mary that God chose to bestow this favor

upon yet it is the One true God that chooses to dwell with us and work in our lives in

amazing ways, through His son,Jesus.   These ways sometimes include struggle and

circumstances that we cannot explain, or control,  but we can ponder, as did Mary, and we

can say "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word".  I do not

believe this young girl understood the magnitude of it all at that moment in

time.....she did not know that she one day would watch the child she bore, her redeemer

also, bare the sins of the whole world.  I am thinking this is where you are too, as you face

difficult or confusing, or even dreams being unfolded.....do we know........we may not know

for now or for awhile. Yet,  on the other hand our Heavenly Father may give us a glimpse.

Either way faithfulness to Him will always bring a bigger picture than what we know! As you

rest in Him this season....may your heart be filled with the peace and comfort of His love.

The Wonder of it all!

Sunset.....by God, viewed and taken in by Jon!

Yesterday, as I tramped outside in the cold evening to

capture a sunset that my youngest

son had spotted. " Come on Mom, come see the sunset."

He invited me in to what he saw...

and....I pondered these very things.

Do I know how this VERY ( I mean very )  small act of sacrifice/kindness, after a long day,

will effect a young child who sees the joy in the world around him.

A joy he wants to share with me.  My heart's desire is to remember this............even in the

business of life, may I remember that I do not know how God is choosing

to impact His people through small choice of surrender in the lives of His children.  I am

still pondering..........God is good!
