Celebration With a Blessed Hope....

........a hope that is not like an earthly hope, that can be subject to change, but a solid hope that is built upon a foundation that is unmoveable.  One that is only found in God and His fulfillment of His word, Jesus.  A sure and safe foundation.  We cannot have this hope in and of ourselves, it is given to us through Jesus Christ by trusting in His finished work.  Sometimes when I use the words, " I hope, they mean more like " I wish, or maybe it will come true." But God has been teaching me through the years that His hope is so different.   When He tells us we have Hope in Him, it never changes, it isn't a wish or a dream built upon me or this world, but built upon Him.  The one who loves me/us with an everlasting love.

I so enjoy the Christmas season, not the hustle and bustle, in which I am learning more and more to do things without murmuring and complaining.  But, a time where we can reflect upon the greatest gift given and the greatest fulfillment to come.   May you all enjoy focusing on our Saviour and the miracle of His birth but let's not stop there.   Dig deep into the reason for His coming, learn anew of His great love, and the hope we have of His return.  For the things of this world, they pass away, they are so temporal.

Merry Christmas from our home to you, may the love of Christ fill your hearts today and in the days to come.
