Garden Goodies

We are very blessed by Mark's father who keeps us well supplied each year with wonderful produce.  He truly loves to garden and he loves to pass it on even more.  Even though they ( Mark's parents )  only use a very small portion of all that he grows he just enjoys the fact that his family benefits from his labor.  Is this not a Christ like love?  Not only does his family benefit but many friends benefit as well.  I told him yesterday we really want a picture of him in his garden.  This is how we know our Pap: Gardening. So far I have frozen several batches of berries for smoothies, made a strawberry pie, and jam to enjoy over the winter.  Fresh asparagus is the best!  I can hardly believe I did not like it before I had it fresh..and all this coming from a girl that barely ate corn and green beans as a child.  God is good!
