Hello to all my fellow sojourners,
What a week it has been here in our home. There have been so many things happening and I have been given plenty of opportunities to strengthen my dependence on my Savior. Finals, Son's Graduation, Accidents, Emergency Bee needs, Mother in need.....all items out of my control but not out of the realm of a God that is never surprised and never out of control. God is the only one that we can use the words "never" and "always" with because He is faithful. It doesn't change.
I am so thankful for the study this week and could share so much but I wanted to send you what my friend and dear sister Marci sent me this morning. God has given her an incredible sense of humor, it truly blessed my morning and I know it will bless you too. When I asked her if I could share her response was precious. She said, "What a blessings to encourage others by what the Lord gives to each of us. I don't think the Lord would be in agreement of 'copywriting' anything He shares with our hearts."

I love that SOAP method of study. I was sharing about it to Larry and think it would be a tremendous method to teach the boys! I love the acronym SOAP, it made me think of that's how God's Word is...like a bar of soap cleans the outside, His Word cleans the inside! I was so enjoying the study and pulling out the Observations, that I was forgetting some applications. I found I only had SOP if I didn't Apply God's Word to my life. Neat the thoughts the Lord gave me this morning. I also like the fact that the the study is 5 days, so I can continue my study of Becoming a Woman of Prayer on Saturdays. What a good, deep study on the prayer life. It's been good. Thanks for your encouragement. See ya soon, Lord willing :-)
