An Adventure

As J crouches down and yells, " Mommy, come take my picture." How can I refuse such a willing participant in my fun.  I am embarking on an adventure.  One that if the Lord tarries, will be a journal of our life.  Even at my age I think it is important to learn life skills that will be a blessing to others.  Last year PT gave me the opportunity to take pictures of the children at VBS.  I had a blast....children are amazing and it sparked such a desire in me to learn more......So the journey begins....photography.  I love pictures.........not so much of landscape but of people, especially my family.  I find it so amusing, as I have walked the path with them while they have learned new life skills like music of all kinds, bee keeping, and woodworking, now they are walking with me.  Sometimes they say...no, no, no pictures.  But not the youngest........he is always ready to have his picture taken and so much fun with all his ideas.  

I also want to thank Lisa, from atruefocus.blogspot.com.  She inspires me!  She is an amazing young photographer that brings glory to her Savior.  My own children also inspire me.   My older sons take beautiful pictures and they are helping me.  It isn't as easy when your eyes begin to blur and you have to reach for your glasses but that is just a minor inconvenience :-))) Part of aging I suppose.  They are being patient when I say......."is this picture blurry???" Or they say....."mom, that picture is blurry."  I respond with " Really?"  They laugh and tell me I need to go get my eyes checked again.  Again, minor challenges :-)
