Poor Jon....injured his elbow after a rather unstable landing from a pull up bar. We recently put up a pull up bar and he has had a whole lot of fun on it. It is really for the older guys but Jon enjoys it too. He comes from the kitchen through the hallway, jumps up, and drops down and normally lands on his feet. Not this time........unfortunately his feet went forward his body went backwards, and somehow his arm was between him and the floor. This resulted in a dislocated elbow. He has been such a trooper...through all the pain he smiled and even commented several times on how nice every one at the ER was even though we were there until midnight. He is finding creative ways to do his school work and other things. My mom heart aches for him but know that he is healing and coming along nicely. Now to just keep him low key so as not to injure that elbow more. Very thankful for splints!
