After a few long nights with a little boy that got poison ivy trying to bless his Mama for Mother's Day.... ( Yes, he thinks ahead:))) I am tired. Yet, as I curled up in a chair for a moment I was refreshed by these sweet words. My precious Savior knew I would need these and I am so thankful for them and for the author, Ann Voskamp @ aholyexperience.com. There are a few authors that are like a balm to my soul, bringing truth that envigorates me, Ann is one of them. She points me to my Savior and His truth. I woke up this morning with a lot on my plate and knew it would be hard; but I entered my Savior's presence and His word and asked Him to give me strength for the task at hand. As I walked downstairs I had a young man off to college, looking at me for reassurance because he too is tired. My thoughts were, I was up 3 times last night I am so tired but the Lord quickly put these words in my mouth, the Lord will provide Jacob, we will trust in Him. And this is exactly what my sweet Jesus has done so far today.......provided....provided cooperative children seeking to be helpful, sweet sisters with words of encouragement, and ideas for food to feed the crew, while still accomplishing things that need done today. This is a huge blessing with all the scratch cooking we need to do for food allergies. I wish I could explain how God does this...I do not know....I just know He does, out of His great care and concern for us, as we call upon Him...He provides. Below are Ann Voskamp's sweet words. My prayer is that they will encourage you to remember you are "beheld by the Beloved."
"Followers of Christ take the inconveniences of life — and make them into instruments to love."~ Ann Voskamp
