My week in God's word has been rich.......oh so rich, maybe it has something to do with all that is going on in our country or in my heart; but fellowship with my Savior is so sweet to my soul. Problems can drive us to hear the peace that only God can offer. I have been looking at Jesus's words to His disciples, as I have been going through the book of Mark. There are so many things the Lord has shown to me to encourage me, to rebuke me, to caution/teach me........oh how awesome God's word is for our lives as His children. A dear sweet friend said to me once , " if God has taken the time to write and preserve His word for us, I don't want to arrive before Him not reading His love letter to me. " Beautiful, wise words........
A father's love for his children is a priceless treasure......these pictures were by Justin...I was sick :-)
One very tired college young man, working hard trying to make ends meet and study also....very proud of his hard work! Love him.
Science with Jon.....Osmosis, and dissolving the egg shell to make a raw egg bounce. Fun!
In our learning room we have been trying to master those math facts. This is one way that is helping with this. I am realizing I have a kinesthetic learner on my hands :-)
History/ Geography.....Learning about China....Jonathan picked out this book from the booksale and he had so much fun building it and playing with it...He practiced Chinese characters and learned about the great wall.......very fun! He bought this because he knew the person selling it ( you may recognize yourself here :-) and his words to me were "I knew they would take care of it so it was safe to buy." Children notice these things :-) Thanks!
Our oldest son loves the Subaru......he worked on fixing up some items this past week and took some pictures. I'd explain more but know very little about these things :-)
More Kite flying with dad and archery; but the archery pictures are for another post.
Tree Climbing.....the favorite maple tree is getting leaves.....hooray!
Hope you enjoyed seeing just a little of our week.......I love my family :-))
