Jonathan's Lemonade Tutorial

Some times life goes different than we plan........
Jonathan had arranged all of his ingredients and was excited to do his Lemonade Tutorial.  This is the child that has an over abundance of creativity and comes up with the neatest things.  As a nine year old, it was a lot of effort, gathering supplies and setting it all up.  However, Mom was not as prepared.  The camera battery was almost out of life and as soon as we began the battery exhausted message flashed across the screen, much to my little son's dismay.  The face, at the end,  is priceless.......

Oh what lessons we learn from our children, the wonderful truths that we are reminded of as we walk this beautiful path that God has called us to called motherhood.  We can make our plans but the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.   Life brings changes that upset the direction that we think or want to go.  But, they do not upset God's plan for us.  He may interrupt what we plan and we may never even know why but we can trust Him.  Unlike a camera battery power or a mom not prepared, God is always working on our behalf.......He never runs out of power and nothing takes Him by surprise!  We serve an incredible Savior and God.  

Psalm 37:23 

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD; and he delighteth in his way.  

Now, delighting,  that is sometimes the hard part, well maybe not for you, but for me, yeah, sometimes......those changes can be hard......I may not delight at first just as Jon did not delight at first but with God's grace we can begin to see that His ways are higher than our ways and He guides us with an everlasting love.  Rest in His love.  He truly knows what is best.
