" Gone Fishing"

Summer time can be so relaxing.  I am so thankful we finally had a moment to do just that.  You know what I found out......it is really hard to be still, when you have been so busy.  So, as my sons fished, I took photos, read a book, and watched a spider spin his prey into a nice little savory meal for later.

It is good to slow down, isn't it?  Have you ever read the Tyranny of the Urgent.  Excellent read.  It has been years since I was in that small book but I am so thankful for the lessons learned and the reminder to not allow the business to steal our time from what is truly important, what God has called us to, what has an eternal perspective.

Enjoy the photos- I have so much fun trying to learn, rejoice with us in Jonathan's moment of catching his "little Sunfish / Bluegills." Enjoy seeing an older son help the younger one, so beautiful, and take in the beautiful scenery that God has put before us.  We are thankful.

This tree was struck by lightning last year, pretty impressive.

Justin saves the fish :-)

I just love the lighting on this photo!

Too funny, check out the size of the "jitter bug." We ran out of worms :-)

Time to go...what a fun evening but now the bugs have come out and they are not so fun!
