I heard a few things at a funeral yesterday and wanted to remember them so I am posting them here. My spot for musing about, and remembering, God's goodness.
Life is a gift, whether we recognize it or not, here today but may be gone tomorrow.
We all go through valleys and mountaintops, the Lord is with us through them all.

ReplyDeleteThis is huge. So something I needed right now. We had a funeral on Friday - very hard...lots of "whys". It's extremely hard for me to not have answers; I like everything to make sense. Just letting go and trusting takes so much faith. But that quote you shared just about summed it up. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!!!!

Thanks Lisa! I will message you, but in case anyone else is wondering...those quotes were surrounding very tragic circumstances. I think they would be glad to know that this helped you too! A small glimpse of things working together for good.....when nothing seems like it.
